I really enjoyed learning from real-world case scenarios and from an experienced designer. It's the kind of stuff you don't get taught on bootcamp. I've learned small details that take years of experience in design to learn. It was almost like learning from an expert in the industry. (Plus, it was very fun to follow!) There was not a single specific moment. Throughout the whole course, I noticed how I was learning and becoming a lot more confident using Figma and already thinking of how I could apply this knowledge to my own personal design projects or future client work. I feel a lot more confident going into my first full-time junior design position, and maybe even try to freelance on the side.

Having known and used Figma for a while, I still learn a lot from this course. First, Mizko explains responsive design, Figma features, and corresponding CSS properties, as well as how to deliver developers’ handoff. His way of explaining Figma features is logical, succinct, and makes a lot of sense—I was left with no confusion. The section on animation and prototypes is golden! Explanations of transition types usually found in an After Effects class are delivered with grace by Mizko. An awesome class overall!

I loved Michael's course on Figma. It's exactly what I needed to start my UX design journey. Michael is great teacher, keeps it fun while giving us high-level workings of using Figma. If there is only one more thing I wish Michale would've taught to make this a well rounded course would be to add a chapter on designing for Mobile apps in Figma. I've taken the Figure Masterclass and the product strategy and research course, and they have totally changed the way that I approach my design process.The Practical User Research & Strategy Masterclass takes you from understanding how to solve problems, why it's important, why research is important. He goes through the tools. I mean, anything and everything you would ever think of about how to create a good product strategy is there. I love that the course was like very actionable. I've actually been using it for my own tech startups and I have been able to win a couple thousand dollars from different business competitions here in Utah, and we don't even have a product yet. It's just from showing them the idea and the research that we've done following the exact format from the course.

I am a self-taught UX Designer and used to heavily rely on Instagram carousels, YouTube, and blog posts for growing my knowledge. I would follow Mizko's IG and had great expectations of this course. True to my expectations, I learned what I wanted to and more! This course was an eye-opener when it comes to good design practices, tips, tricks, and efficient collaboration/work. Essentially the way I approach UI design has changed for the better. I am amazed at the amount of effort and attention to detail that went into this course and commend Mizko for that. The course is 'designed' to not just theoretically teach us concepts but also to enable us with lifelong practices.
Last but not least, the way Mizko delivers lessons is similar to how a friend is speaking with you -- always fun, never a snoozefest (with a sprinkle of humor). Overall, this course was exactly what I needed for building my skillset.

I knew I’d learn a lot from this course when I joined- but man, I was blown away. I learned so much about configuring effective and efficient auto layouts, not to mention a streamlined process into turning those auto layouts into responsive pages.
I learned how to efficiently create and organize a design system for multiple projects. The best part is that the whole curriculum is based off of a real project, so you are shown how and why he makes the choices he does throughout the entire process.
