Bluebeam is looking for a Sr. Design Manager to join our award-winning Creative team and lead the reimagination of our global web properties. The Creative team at Bluebeam is responsible for telling the differentiated Bluebeam story through all customer-facing channels, whether in original content, advertising, or digital spaces it’s important we continue to stand out in a crowded market.  

The Sr. Design Manager will be responsible for a consistent, beautiful, bold, and usable experience across our global website, support site, and e-commerce experiences. We’re looking for an exceptional designer and team lead to work collaboratively across diverse teams to ensure we’re solving the right design problems and executing engaging design work. The right person will leave their ego at the door and embrace working to transform our design system into a scalable platform for global success. 

Due to COVID-19, all new employees will be required to start work remotely until we are able to return to the office. More information will be provided in the interview process.


  • Lead interactive design across Bluebeam’s various web properties as well as owning the evolution of our design system known as Bluprnt 
  • Work with and mentor a team of three Designers 
  • Lead, own, and evolve our design discovery process across Marketing and Bluebeam as a whole in order to define business, team, and customer needs 
  • Manage the day-to-day design team needs across digital properties, marketing promotions, events and more 
  • Work collaboratively with the larger creative team as well as our marketing, International and product departments 
  • Help to cultivate and maintain a culture of testing and learning 
  • Hold yourself and your design team to a high level of design decision-making and execution 
  • Advocate for the user while continuing to push our customer experience and visual design to help Bluebeam stand out globally 

What we’d like to see in you: 

  • Experience leading design of global enterprise sites, support sites, e-commerce, and administrative web properties 
  • At least 3-5 years experience managing design teams 
  • At least 7 years of experience working in design, interactive design, or UX design 
  • Ability to find creative and useful design solutions to complex problems 
  • Experience facilitating or moderating workshops, research labs, and user testing program, including the ability to write user testing programs 
  • Experience working within and creating design systems 
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, and Sketch 
  • Experience presenting across all levels of an organization, including C-Level 
  • Expert knowledge of design principles, color theory, layout, and typography 
  • Solid understanding of print production and digital advertising 
  • Experience working with web developers, writers, copy editors, and project managers 
  • Understanding of agile project methodology 
  • Experience working with agencies and outside vendors both as a contributor and a project lead 

Some nice to haves: 

  • Degree in art/design/video 
  • Experience working in agency, software companies, and or UX agencies  
  • Experience working in or closely with marketing teams 
  • Experience working with localization tools
